Shipping & Trial Policy

Enjoy Free Shipping and a 5-Day Trial on Every Saddle

You’re welcome to try any saddle we offer through our 5-day trial program. To begin, just click the “Order for Trial” button on the saddle’s product page. Payment is required in full at checkout and can be made via credit card, debit card. Orders are shipped within 5 business days. Shipping within the U.S. is free. 

Note: Saddles are not reserved until payment is received.

Trial Timeline & Returns

Your 5-day trial begins the day your saddle is delivered. If you decide not to keep it, you’ll need to email us at info@thetackconnection.com before the trial ends to request a return label. We’ll provide a prepaid label for return shipping.

A return instruction note will be included in the box. If we don’t receive your return request before the trial ends, the saddle becomes yours and NO returns will be accepted — unless prior arrangements have been made in writing (email or text).

Return shipping is fully insured and costs $100, which will be deducted from your refund.

After the Return

Once the saddle is returned and passes inspection, we’ll contact you within one business day. You can choose to:

  • Apply your refund as store credit toward another saddle.

  • Or, receive a refund (less return and restocking fees).

Refunds can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, but they often arrive sooner.

Restocking Fee & Credit Policy

There is a $200 restocking fee for saddles returned after a trial. 

Tack & Apparel Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not, we offer a 7-day return window on all tack items.

Return Period: Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery. You must contact us via email within that 7-day period to initiate the return.

Return Conditions
To qualify for a full refund, the item must be: In unused condition/ Returned with original tags attached/ Free from signs of wear, damage, or use (no hair, dirt, or odor)

Refund Policy

If the item is returned in original condition, a full refund will be issued (minus shipping, if applicable).

If the item shows any signs of use or is returned without tags, a prorated refund will be issued based on the item’s resale condition.

Items deemed heavily used or damaged may be ineligible for a refund.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
